How much are the Fees for an Agent to Sign Up?

Melange has absolutely ZERO Sign up Fees.

What kind of Real Estate License is required to Sign Up.?

Melange is licensed in the State of Florida and requires all agents to have an active real estate license issued by the State of Florida.

How do I get paid after my transaction closes?

Assuming your real estate file is complete and approved by the broker, you will get paid directly from escrow the same day escrow cuts the checks. If the file is incomplete at the time escrow cuts the checks, then escrow will send the check to our real estate company. Once the file is complete and approved by the real estate broker, Melange will send your commission split directly to your address on file.

Do I get Broker Support?

Yes- Broker support is available 7 days a week between 8:30 am 8:30 pm. You may call the broker directly or email and you will be responded in less than 1 hour

Do I use a Specific Lender, Escrow/Title company, attorney?

No. Maintaining strong long term relationships is beneficial to your real estate career. You are free to use professional services that best fit your client’s needs – However, mortgage financing services are available from our in-house mortgage company ‘ melange Capital Investments.

What forms and Contracts do I use?

Our agents are only allowed to use only FAR and FAR/BAR approved forms that are available in Form Simplicity and Transaction Desk. If an approved contract is being used, then Broker approval is required for use of such forms. In the vent that the documents need to be reviewed by an attorney, the agent will be responsible for the charges,

Can I negotiate my commission with my clients?

Yes. Our Agents have 100% Freedom to decide the Commission between the clients and themselves. If the Agent decides to charge 0$, the only amount due will the transaction fee applicable to that agent’s Compensation plan.

How much is the E&O Insurance? Do agents pay for it?

Currently, all our compensation plans Include Error and Omissions Insurance and offered at Xero cost to our agents

Does melange Provide Office / Desk Space?

Currently, Melange offers shared office use at our 2 physical locations. No, we do not offer individual desk space for our agents. We believe in giving our agents more of their hard-earned commission versus paying for expensive space.

Do I have to be a member of the Board of realtors?

Yes. Melange Real Estate is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Realtors and Greater Tampa Association of realtors – Our agents have to become a member within 60 days of signing up with melange.
